Giants outfielder Pat Burrell left Saturday's game against the Diamondbacks with a sore foot.

Burrell, 34, was making his second start since returning from the disabled list for a bone spur in his right foot.

Burrell grounding out to third base on the first pitch he saw in the second inning. Then he drew a walk in the third inning. When the Giants came out on defense in the top of the fourth, Cody Ross had shifted to left field for Burrell, and Andres Torres took over center field, replacing Burrell in the five-hole.

In his first start, the veteran saw 22 pitches in three plate appearances, walking twice and striking out once.

We will update this story as more information on Burrell's condition becomes available.
