The Giants reinstated closer Brian Wilson from the disabled list and activated him prior to Sunday's game with the Rockies, the team announced Sunday morning.

Wilson has not pitched since August 15 in Atlanta when he allowed three runs to the Braves in the bottom of the 9th en route to a blown save and a Giants loss.
He was placed on the DL on August 21 with right elbow inflammation.
